It's as Easy as A - B - C

A - Academics Always

Education should always seek to impart in children the time-honored academic foundation of reading, writing, and arithmetic. High school graduates should be well-rounded and ready for citizenship, the work force, and advanced education. Education does not end after graduation, and a successful academic education can instill confidence in students and a lifelong love of learning.

B - Balanced Budget

A balanced budget is far more than ensuring that expenditures do not exceed revenue. A balanced budget applies a fiscally conservative lens to all decisions being made to ensure that expenditures always yield measurable academic advancement. This type of decision making seeks to do more with less, while fiercely resisting increases in taxes.

C - Community Commitment

Holding public office is an ongoing relationship with one’s constituents that lasts far beyond election day. Being responsive to constituent concerns will be my priority. Parent and citizen feedback will be valued and critical in the student's success. Policies must be in place to ensure full transparency between educators and their community, especially for the parents and guardians of children enrolled in the district schools.
