Meet Katie Allen

     I am a proud wife, mother, and Christian who looks forward to serving my community as the District 4 Board of Education member. I have been actively involved in the Columbia County School District since 2020, attending meetings regularly, speaking during public participation, and raising awareness of education trends in the district.

     I moved to Columbia County in 2016 upon completion of my 10-year military service, where I served as a noncommissioned officer in the United States Army. I worked as an Arabic linguist and intelligence professional with deployment experience to Iraq. Following my military career, I worked as an intelligence contractor and corporate communications specialist at Fort Gordon (Fort Eisenhower) for five years before my husband and I left contracting to start a small business and focus on raising our children.

     I hold a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management, an Associate of Arts in Arabic Language Studies, an Associate of Applied Science in Intelligence Operations Studies, Project Management Professional certification, and I will graduate in May from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Law & Policy: Pre-Law. I am excited to use my military experience, business knowledge, and legal education to be an asset to the students, parents, and employees of the Columbia County School District – representing the community with the genuine care and concern of a proud mother.
